Autumn Cycling

The weather has been extremely pleasant, all of autumn has been for that matter.
It has been perfect sweat free cycling weather. So there should be tons of cyclists out enjoying our beautiful  graffiti'd rail trails.
So many were out riding, I decided to take a picture.
Here it is:

Yes that many.
Why is nobody out enjoying the nice weather?
That is one of the reasons I don't post here much, more time on the computer equals less time outside.
Sometimes I have a hard time with other bike blogs that post daily with tons of pictures:
pictures of them=somebody else taking the photo, pictures of scenic spots with bikes=driving or riding out of the city they say they live in, long post=less time actually riding,etc..
It all seems so fake.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving, I wish you all good times with your family or family of friends.
As you feast, give thanks for all that you have been given and the ability to work for the things that you earn.
Speaking of thankfulness, here is some progress pics taken via crappy camera phone:

Have a good one, lukeofny

Back To Work!

Today is my first day back to work in a little over two weeks! If there is one thing I learned while on vacation is that " It is amazing how good your feet can feel when you're not on them for ten hours!"
Beside that little fact I will miss the time spent with my family. Also with new projects o the horizon and old ones yet to be completed, I am not looking forward to work.
No sunshine until the weekend, literally I go to work when it's dark and now return when it's dark!

Freebie

After a two-week vacation and my new little girl born, I have nothing but work to look forward to.
On my way to retrieve my son's tractor, I stopped at the town landfill (call it dumpster diving or recycling either way it helps)
And I found a score!
The pics say it all.

And it's just my size

Over all a sweet find, Biopace chainrings, down tube shifters, triple butted Tange Ishiwata EX 4130 and Araya 700c rims
